THURS 8-15-19 Payson area route inspections

Post by -Spike- » Mon Jun 24, 2019 12:39 pm

We're going to the Payson area to escape the heat. Not sure where we'll be inspecting, but we know where we're meeting!

Meeting time and place-
9AM at the Maverik Gas Station 715 N Beeline Hwy, Payson, AZ 85541

Lunch will be provided for folks who let us know they're coming at least 24 hours before the event start time. Either register on the TRAL Event Calendar or reply to this thread. Please let us know if you plan on bringing guests. Look for the option to add a note if you register on the calendar.

Keep an eye on this thread for the latest updates.

Lunch (for those who sign up in time) is Polish Sausage with Sauerkraut and mustard (or mayo if you're weird, or hot sauce if you're daring), chips, and Oreos.

Didn’t take any pictures of the first half of the day, but after the others decided to call it a day, Ben and I went to finish a couple more routes in the area.

The first route turned out to be a pretty fun little drive!

With a pretty decent view at the end, too!

Lastly headed up into an old burn area. The absence of trees made for a great view.
