Report problems, or check for issues on a trail you plan to run
Forum rules
Before you post- please search for the trail and see if there's already a thread on it, and if so add your comments to it. If you can't find a thread you started, chances are it got merged with an existing thread about the same trail. Please include the FR (Forest Road) number and/or common nickname (for example, FR3456, Log Corral), and as much detail as possible. TRAL can use this info to plan repairs or report the issues to the responsible agency, and hopefully get the problems resolved!

Table Table- uh, Table Mesa Road East (FR41)

Post by -Spike- » Thu May 23, 2019 9:23 pm

This route runs east-west between Interstate 17 and Seven Springs Road (FR24). It's a popular fun run, and can make a day on FR24 into a loop route. It has seen some issues over the past few years with severe erosion, and was closed for quite some time. It's currently open (as of this writing, anyway). It's a full-size vehicle route that's not generally challenging for a stock 4x4, but conditions can change with a storm as much of it runs along New River. There is a section of it on State Trust land, which requires a permit.

If you came here looking for Table Mesa West, well, that's BLM land and not part of the Tonto National Forest, but here's some info for you anyway.
