Had a pretty diverse turnout for this one; some Jeeps, a few Land Cruisers and a couple quads.

Started off right at the highway, then headed towards Lion Spring. For those of you who haven’t been before, this are offers a lot of erosion in the fun variety. Something we took full advantage of while headed over to a small pet cemetery, which we wanted to get put into Collector.

Most of the trucks just wandered through this without a ton of fanfare. Usually resulting in a small wheel lift which some decided to move through as quickly as they could because they don’t want it to look like we’re having fun out here or anything. :hhmm:

A few pictures of the pet cemetery. Overall it’s pretty well maintained with a few elaborate touches.

From there we headed south, bound for Lion Spring for lunch.

Stopped along the way to put a couple markers in for aid of navigation through the area. In some spots there are several routes, so we made sure to sign the one which made the most sense, making notes in Collector about what was done and why.

Lion Spring itself didn’t have much in way of shade, but it was a pretty cool day and the bluff we parked on had a nice shade tree to keep us all cool, as well as a few clouds.

From there we headed down 1372, which has a couple technical sections but was overall in better condition than the last time I ran it.

The route cuts across to 371, a maintained route which then heads south to Pocket Cabin.

This guy didn’t seem to mind us being in the area and even posed for a picture!

Pocket Cabin is actually a pair of cabins which are in great condition and worth the visit.

Wrapped up the day by checking on a couple admin routes, one of which offered some pretty nice scenery, ending at the top of Agate Mountain. :smokin:
