The views on the way back out offer a different perspective on four peaks as well as great views of the Mazatals and even the rim.

Four peaks.

From there, headed across 609 and into Young, bound for the firemen’s barracks.

These guys have been put into the area around the barracks, so a lot of the grass is has been organically mowed. The fire ring is visible again!

Spent Thursday working just off the Chamberlain Trail (FR200) which had some great views, as always.

Found a little spur with some great camping opportunities, overlooking a nice little canyon.

Spent the third day (Friday) in the area just south of the Naegelin Rim, which had dominated our view to the north all day. Run a nice loop which had several great spots for camping. Views all around.

The loop started heading north off the 200, then went counterclockwise as I ran it. Pleasant Valley to the south.

Came out to meet back up with 200 further west, something we called a ‘nice Sunday drive’ then took 200 north up to Colcord and into Payson to round out the trip.
