Wildcat Work Day - Saturday May 11th

Post by speaker » Mon May 06, 2019 5:59 pm

Hi Volunteers,

TRAL is planning a work day this Saturday, May 11th at the Wildcat Staging area in Cave Creek (about 0.75 mile east of the Cave Creek Ranger Station on Bartlett Dam Road). This is an important work day as there are some critical parts of the project that need to be completed before the area reopens. The work will include building 3-wire fence and installing new signs. We need a pretty good sized group of volunteers to get all of this work done so if you can make it out both the Forest and RecConnect who is coordinating all of the work would really appreciate it.

The event will run from 8:30 to 2:00 and Rich Smith will be the event coordinator. Please bring your fence building tools including t-post drivers, regular hand tools and the normal safety gear (long pants, gloves, hat, sunscreen, water, etc.). Rich will also be chef for the day as TRAL will be providing lunch.

Please sign up early as we need to get a count for food and for planning out the work details.

Thanks for volunteering!
