ADAT Sycamore Wash area run FRIDAY 1-11-19

Post by -Spike- » Sun Dec 23, 2018 4:30 pm

TRAL volunteers are prohibited from doing any work in the Forest while the 'government shutdown' is in effect. This run is on the schedule but volunteer participation will not be possible if the government shutdown is still in effect. This does not prohibit the general public from tagging along, on a purely social basis. Please see the post 'A word about TRAL runs during the Government Shutdown-' for more details.

We're planning to run FR160 all the way to the Eagle Nesting Area gate at the west end. This is a particularly long trail at almost 13 miles, encompassing 'Rocker Panel Pass', and the west end rarely gets traffic. We've heard that the gate may be damaged, so we're dedicating an entire day to this one route, although we may find another path back out.

Meeting place and time-
Baja Gas Station
10180 N Fort McDowell Rd, Fort McDowell, AZ 85264

Please sign up on the TRAL Events Calendar if you plan to attend.TRAL will provide lunch for anyone signed up at least 24 hours before the event. If you are planning to bring guests, let us know in the Notes when you sign up.
