After a quick discussion about where to run the fence the fence crew hit it hard. Before we knew it there was about 220' of new fence in place!

Then on to the next short stretch which had seen quite a bit of traffic since we were last there.

After a good day of work we headed out to Bartlett Flats for a BBQ. Chefs Rich and Ben served up burgers and their challenge was to get them cooked fast as this was a hungry crew. I think I heard someone say just wave mine over the grill a couple of times...I can't wait any longer!

We were a bit over-prepared with supplies...I guess that is the best place to be in. With the gate it was quite a load to haul back to the yard. Next week we will refurb this gate for the next part of this project. Found everything we need for that in the boneyard at the ranger station. Nice to re-use, re-purpose this stuff.

It was another great day in the Tonto. We are demonstrating to Forest that we can organize and complete a project with minimal help or oversight which makes us all the more valuable as a volunteer group!

Thanks again to everyone who came out to PLAY!!!!

Looks perfect...who needs a brand new gate! And there were plenty of gate parts in the bone yard for many more gates.
