Full dumpster, had to run junk over to one staged at Butcher Jones, staged for another job, heard we also filled that one. Then with the overfill of this one ended up being 3 dumpsters.

Keep it clean, keep it open, so shooters are also illiterate.

As usual, solid work in organizing this attempt at stemming the shooter crap tide by Natural Restorations! To bad it’s necessary and has to be funded by OHV budget. For decades the shooting community have proven they are too good to pickup their trash, at least they could fund the responsible communities that attempt to cleanup after them.

At site 5 a silver pickup with a big enclosed trailer was leaving, they left a big camp fire burning, windy, so embers blowing around, put it out and shot some pictures. What part of this is sustainable? We get prosecuted for much less, but this gets a pass? If shooters had any pride, would be embarrassing.

Are there any shooter forums online? If so, you should post these pics there also.

Well then, the mentallity that they don't care about our land must come from the top, as in the moderators that run the forum.

Was out wheeling with an avid shooter buddy, who was pretty upset by what he saw, so he started a thread about responsible use. Was several years ago, don't recall the forum, but big, active, local and he is a significant contributor to it.

First the thread went full denial, isolated incident, not as bad as you are saying, etc, like 3 pages if it. So he contacts me, asks that I join and post pictures of the day, did, with almost zero comment. Checked a few hours later and it's like a dozen pages of; those are not "real shooters" we aren't picking up idiots trash, who cares, etc. Tried to check a couple of days later, I had gotten the perma ban hammer, and the thread was gone. Contacted my buddy, said the thread went fully piss and vinegar and got deleted. He got warnings from the forum for starting an inflammatory thread and was on probation from his moderator duties. Was disappointed in how it went, but valued his place in the community, so that was the end of that.

Anyway, we were out there again today, the first area we worked. At 39 days out, looks almost as bad as it was before we cleaned it.
