OHV Host Academy - 1/29/11

The first 16 OHV Hosts went through the all day training session we call the Host Academy.  The event was held at the Mesa District's Sunflower administrative site.

The Sunflower site is a great place to hold an all day class.

We had some classroom time in the house and then in the ramada

... and some training in "the field" using the Sunflower grounds

... and of course lunch and dinner

A group camped out overnight to enjoy the area on Sunday with breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, chorizo, fruit, and Joe's famous potatoes (we are definitely over achievers when it comes to food)

Then we went out for a ride.

Sunflower mine.  Always fun to visit.

Then it was sadly time to go home.  But we'll be back for an end of the season event!
